TAKING CARE OF YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM IN 2026

Stress is not sustainable (but herbs can help!)

Tuesday 10th Feb at 7pm

New year, same stress? Your body doesn't care about resolutions, it just needs support. Join me to learn which herbs actually help your nervous system handle real life.

As we head into 2026, are you still stuck in constant fight or flight mode?

I don't do complicated. This talk is all about easy and simple ways to Utilise herbs give your NERVOUS SYSTEM a boost.

We're still crawling out of the manic last few months of holiday stress, on top of what we've all probably started to call "our normal everyday stress."

Your nervous system responds to consistency over time - not sudden month changes where we start to push or restrict our bodies.

When external pressures increase (hello 101 goals for 2026) and you haven't given your internal system time to stabilize (i.e., relax the fuck down), your body ramps up those stress pathways. This leaves your energy, mood, and focus very much in the dust.

Stress is not sustainable.

When your body is in stress mode, it downgrades other responses like tissue repair (hello wrinkles). Don't even get me started on hormones - menopause, anyone? Your immune system is shattered. Energy comes in small bursts because you just can't sustain a whole day without feeling like you're about to drop.

Your body doesn't just reset on January 1st like magic, even if all the ads tell you "new year, new you." Bullshit.

  • Herbs you can actually use
Some you may already have, some will be on the shelf of your local health shop - simple nervous system support that works

  • What's actually happening in your body
Why stress isn't just "in your head" and what your nervous system needs to actually calm down

  • Practical daily support
Easy ways to integrate nervous system care into your life (no fancy routines or hour-long rituals required)

  • Herbs for real life stress
Not just "relax more" advice - actual plants that help your body handle stress better

  • Linking it all together
A sneak peek at this month's Wisdom from the Wild subscription box featuring Dandelion - perfect for supporting your body as you come out of the holiday madness

What you'll learn about:

Why should you care?

Because you're probably exhausted, running on fumes, and telling yourself you'll "relax later" - except later never comes.

Your nervous system is like the Wi-Fi router of your body - when it's overloaded, everything else starts glitching. Your sleep goes to shit. Your digestion's a mess. You're snapping at people you love. You can't remember where you put your keys five minutes ago.

The truth: pushing through doesn't work. Your body doesn't care that it's a new year. It's still processing all the stress you've been carrying.

What if instead of waiting until you completely burn out, you actually gave your nervous system some support? Not in a "bubble bath and face mask" way (though no judgment if that's your thing), but in a "let's use plants that actually help your body handle stress" way.

What you'll walk away with:

Herbs that support your nervous system through everyday stress

Understanding of what your nervous system actually needs

Practical ways to integrate nervous system care into your actual life

Confidence that you're not broken, your nervous system is just doing its job

Meet my past students and clients

Hannah - Midwife

I have always thought it was very sad that most of us have lost the skill that our ancestors had- to correctly ID herbs and understand their benefits

I am quite into my skincare and I have spent a lot of money on natural products. I am so excited that I now know how to start making my own. This not only saves me a large amount of money, but my skin is absolutely glowing from the products I’ve made so far.

Ellen -Yoga Teacher

I am a yoga teacher and very interested in connecting with the old traditions, those of our ancestors as well as connecting to the land. I find it fascinating that our plant allies are so over looked and really want to be apart of the revolution of bringing them back and advocating for safer and more natural medicines/ creams etc!

I work with many herbs now for my own health, it's liberating and takes the fear/ doubts out of working with herbs, the course makes it so doable!!

I founded Yarrow Lane to tackle two huge obstacles in herbal education: accessibility and affordability. I'm a weed lover, dirty chai addict, and someone who genuinely gets excited talking about plants (ask anyone who's been on a walk with me!). My journey started in my gran's house where her cupboards were full of mysterious bottles and homemade remedies that had been passed down through our family. I believe learning the language of plant medicine is your birthright and has the power to heal yourself and your community.
