Each day we will start with a plant walk around the gardens to learn what is in bloom each month.

Class time are 10am to 4.30pm 

Class 1 – August 10th

• Herbal walk to ID healing plants.
• What is Herbal Medicine?
• What is Growing in your own garden that you can use to heal.
• How to blend a herbal tea & some common weeds that taste great in a healing tea.
• learns about the power of some common weeds!
• We will all help to make Fire cider which you will get to take home.

Class 2- September 7th

• Herbal walk in the gardens
• We will talk about & make your very own Flower Essence.
• Learn all about the Nervous system
• Herbs that can help deal with stress
• Herbs for good circulation
• Learn how to make & blend Tinctures & tonics.
• We will taste all kinds of tinctures to awaken your senses & find out if you can taste the sweet from the bitter!
• You will forage plants from the gardens to make your own tincture & take that home to work with over the coming weeks.

Class 3 – October 5th

• Herbal walk in the gardens to ID plants
• learn about Herbs for Skin issues
• learn about Herbs for Immunity
•  Make an infused herbal oil & Balm – that you go home with.
• Make a herbal face cream & body butter – that you go home with.
• We will be also be working with  blending in essential oils to add the extra level of healing to your products
• This class is all about getting stuck in to making your own healing medicines.

Class 4- November 2nd

• Herbal walk in the gardens to ID plants
• Pop Quiz in all you have learnt so you leave feeling confidant in your plant knowledge
• Learn what is involved & the question to ask when doing a consultation.
• Learn about herbs for the digestion system
• Learn about herbs for the Reproductive system
• How to make herbal honeys/ oxymels/ glycerite’s & winter tonic – get to go home with samples.

You will get a full set of notes from each day 

Samples of herbs to go home with.  On the First day you will get an array of dried herbs to help you start your home apothecary, so you get the chance to not just read in a book about these plant, but to touch, smell, taste them as nature intended. 

After the  4 Days you will get a full understanding of how herbs can heal you & your family & the wider community, this course is aim to be your first steps into the wonderful world of plants , who knows were that will lead you, maybe ill be attending your plant workshop in the future!
