The information and services provided by Yarrow Lane are for educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.


You should always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before:
  • Starting any new herbal remedy or supplement
  • Discontinuing any prescribed medication
  • If you are pregnant, nursing, or planning to become pregnant
  • If you have any existing medical conditions
  • If you are taking any medications (including over-the-counter drugs)


No herbalist-client relationship is created by using our website or purchasing our services. We are not licensed medical practitioners, and our services do not replace professional medical care.


Results from herbal remedies and consultations vary greatly between individuals. We make no guarantees regarding outcomes or results from our services or products.





You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during consultations and when creating an account or making purchases.


You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. If you are under 18, you may only use our services with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.


All information, products, and services are for your personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise agreed in writing.


You are responsible for:
  • Disclosing all known allergies and sensitivities during consultations
  • Reading all product ingredients before use
  • Performing patch tests when recommended
  • Discontinuing use if adverse reactions occur




5.1 Consultation Format
Consultations are typically conducted via Zoom video call and last approximately 45-60 minutes. In-person consultations may be available upon request by contacting us directly.

5.2 What's Included
Your consultation fee includes:
  • Initial consultation session (45-60 minutes)
  • Personalised herbal recommendations
  • Herbal tonics and tea blends (typically a 6-week supply, posted to you)
  • One follow-up session (approximately 6 weeks after initial consultation, via phone or Zoom)

5.3 Booking and Payment
  • Consultations must be booked in advance
  • Payment is required at the time of booking
  • You will receive a confirmation email with appointment details and Zoom link (if applicable)

5.4 Cancellation and Rescheduling
  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment
  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the consultation fee
  • No-shows will be charged the full consultation fee
  • We reserve the right to cancel appointments due to emergency or illness, in which case a full refund will be provided

5.5 Follow-Up Sessions
  • One follow-up session is included in your consultation fee
  • Follow-up sessions should be scheduled within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 8-12 weeks of the initial consultation)
  • Additional consultations beyond the included follow-up will incur standard consultation fees

5.6 Confidentiality and Record Keeping
We respect your privacy and maintain confidentiality of all personal health information shared during consultations, except where disclosure is required by law. Consultation notes and health information will be retained for as long as legally required and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.




6.1 Product Range
Our handmade herbal products may include (but are not limited to):
  • Herbal balms and salves
  • Herbal tinctures
  • Herbal teas and tea blends
  • Educational booklets
  • Infused oils
  • Herbal creams and body products
  • Syrups and other herbal preparations
Product availability may vary, and new products may be added to our range from time to time.

6.2 Product Information
We strive to provide accurate descriptions and ingredient lists for all products. However, formulations may occasionally change. Always check the product label upon receipt. Products are made on-premises with care and quality ingredients.

6.3 Made to Order and Stock Items
Some products may be made to order while others are available from existing stock. Made-to-order items may require additional preparation time before shipping.

6.4 Allergies and Safety
  • Check all ingredient lists carefully before use
  • Perform patch tests when recommended or when trying a product for the first time
  • Discontinue use immediately if irritation or adverse reaction occurs
  • Keep all products out of reach of children and pets
  • Store as directed on product packaging
  • Follow all usage instructions provided on product labels

6.5 Internal Use Products
For any products intended for internal use (such as tinctures, teas, or syrups), please pay special attention to dosage instructions and contraindications. When in doubt, consult with us or a qualified healthcare provider before use.

6.6 Quality Assurance
All products are handmade with quality ingredients. However, we cannot guarantee specific results or outcomes from product use. Natural products may vary slightly in appearance, consistency, or scent from batch to batch.

6.7 Shelf Life
Natural products have a limited shelf life. Please check expiration or "best by" dates on product packaging and use products within the recommended timeframe for optimal quality and safety.




7.1 Monthly Herbal Subscription
We offer a monthly herbal subscription box service that delivers curated herbal products to your door on a recurring basis.

7.2 Billing and Payment
  • Subscription boxes are billed monthly on the 28th of each month
  • Payment is processed automatically through our subscription platform (Subbly) using Stripe payment processing
  • You must maintain a valid payment method on file for your subscription to continue
  • If a payment fails, we will attempt to process it again. Repeated payment failures may result in subscription suspension

7.3 Subscription Duration and Auto-Cancellation
  • Subscriptions have a maximum duration of 12 months, after which they will automatically cancel
  • You may choose to resubscribe after the 12-month period ends

7.4 Cancellation by Subscriber
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time without penalty
  • Cancellations must be made before the billing date (28th of the month) to avoid being charged for the next box
  • Once a box has been billed and prepared for shipping, that box cannot be refunded
  • To cancel, log into your subscription account or contact us directly

7.5 Pausing or Skipping Boxes
  • You may pause or skip boxes after making a minimum of 3 payments
  • Pause or skip requests must be submitted before the billing date
  • While paused, your subscription will not be billed, and you will not receive boxes
  • You may resume your subscription at any time

7.6 Subscription Box Contents
  • Box contents may vary from month to month
  • We curate each box with seasonal and high-quality herbal products
  • We cannot guarantee specific items will be included in any particular box
  • Substitutions may be made based on availability

7.7 Shipping for Subscriptions
  • Subscription boxes are shipped monthly after billing
  • Shipping is included in the subscription price unless otherwise stated
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services

7.8 No Refunds on Subscription Boxes
Due to the perishable and personalised nature of subscription boxes, we cannot offer refunds once a box has been billed and prepared for shipping.





8.1 Course Formats
We offer various educational courses and workshops on herbalism, which may be conducted:
  • In person at designated venues
  • Online via video conferencing
  • Through self-paced digital materials
  • In hybrid formats combining multiple delivery methods
Course format, venue, and specific details will be provided on the course listing and sales page.

8.2 Course Booking and Deposits
  • A non-refundable deposit (typically €50) is required at the time of booking to secure your place in a course
  • The deposit amount will be specified on the course listing
  • Deposits are non-refundable, even if you cancel or do not attend the course

8.3 Course Payment Options
Payment options will be specified for each course and may include:
  • Full payment upfront (may include a discount)
  • Installment payments over the duration of the course
  • Other payment plans as advertised
If paying in installments, payments are due as specified in your course agreement, and payment will be collected regardless of attendance.

8.4 Course Cancellation by Yarrow Lane
If we must cancel a course due to insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, or other unforeseen circumstances:
  • We will provide as much advance notice as possible
  • Your deposit and any payments made will be fully refunded
  • Alternatively, we may offer to transfer your booking to a future course date

8.5 Cancellation by Student
  • Deposits are non-refundable
  • If you cancel after making payments beyond the deposit, refund eligibility will depend on the timing of cancellation and the specific course terms
  • Generally, cancellations made more than 14 days before the course start date may be eligible for partial refund (minus the deposit)
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the course start date will not be eligible for refund

8.6 Missed Classes and Make-Up Sessions
  • Payment for scheduled classes is required even if you miss a class
  • For multi-session courses, if you miss a class, you may be able to attend that specific session during a future offering of the same course at no additional charge (space permitting)
  • Make-up sessions are offered as a courtesy and are subject to availability
  • You must contact us to arrange any make-up sessions

8.7 Course Materials
Course materials may include (but are not limited to):
  • Comprehensive course notes for each session
  • Samples of dried herbs, infused oils, balms, creams, syrups, or other preparations
  • Plants or seeds (when in season)
  • Hands-on creation of herbal products to take home (items vary by course)
  • Access to digital resources or recordings (if applicable)
Specific inclusions will be detailed in each course description.

8.8 Course Access and License
  • For online or digital courses, you are granted a personal, non-transferable license to access course materials
  • Access duration will be specified at the time of purchase
  • You may not share, reproduce, or redistribute course content without written permission

8.9 Prerequisites and Requirements
Some courses may have prerequisite requirements or recommended prior knowledge. These will be clearly stated on the course listing. It is your responsibility to ensure you meet any prerequisites before enrolling.

8.10 Educational Purpose Only
All courses and educational content are for informational and educational purposes only. Completion of our courses does not:
  • Constitute professional certification or licensing
  • Qualify you to practice as a professional herbalist
  • Replace formal education or professional training programs
  • Create any credentials recognized by regulatory bodies




9.1 Pricing
All prices are in Euros (€) and include VAT unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, though this will not affect orders or bookings already placed.

9.2 Payment Methods
We accept payment via:
  • Credit/debit cards (through Stripe)
  • Bank transfer
  • Cash (for in-person transactions)
  • Revolut
Other methods as advertised on our website or agreed upon directly

9.3 Payment Processing
Online payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your complete credit card information. For subscriptions, recurring billing is managed through Subbly and Stripe.

9.4 Failed Payments
If a payment fails (particularly for subscriptions), we will attempt to process it again. You are responsible for ensuring your payment information is current and that sufficient funds are available. Repeated payment failures may result in service suspension or subscription cancellation.




10.1 Shipping Locations
  • Standard shipping is available throughout Ireland via our website checkout
  • EU and international shipping is available upon request - please contact us directly to arrange

10.2 Shipping for Products
  • Products will be shipped to the address provided at checkout
  • Shipping times and costs will be displayed before purchase completion
  • You are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information
  • For made-to-order products, additional preparation time may be required before shipping

10.3 Shipping for Consultation Products
Herbal tonics, teas, and other products included with consultations will be posted to you following your initial consultation session.

10.4 Risk of Loss
Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier (An Post or other designated carrier).

10.5 Delivery Issues
We are not responsible for:
  • Delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or postal strikes
  • Lost or stolen packages after delivery confirmation
  • Delivery issues caused by incorrect addresses provided by you
  • Circumstances beyond our control

If you do not receive your package within the expected timeframe, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the issue.




11.1 Product Returns
  • Due to the nature of handmade herbal products and health regulations, we cannot accept returns of opened products
  • Custom-made or personalized products cannot be returned or refunded
  • Unopened products in original packaging may be returned within 14 days of receipt for a refund, minus original shipping costs
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Products must be in original, unused condition
  • Contact us before returning any items to receive return instructions

11.2 Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive damaged or incorrect items:
  • Contact us within 7 days of receipt
  • Provide photographic evidence of the damage or error
  • We will replace or refund the item at our discretion

11.3 Consultation Refunds
  • Consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation has been completed
  • If you need to cancel and do so within our cancellation policy timeframe (48+ hours notice), you may reschedule at no charge
  • Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows are subject to fees as outlined in Section 5.4

11.4 Course Refunds
  • Deposits are non-refundable in all circumstances
  • Other refund eligibility is subject to the terms outlined in Section 8
  • Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 14-21 business days

11.5 Subscription Box Refunds
Subscription boxes are not eligible for refunds once billed and prepared for shipping, as outlined in Section 7.8.




12.1 Ownership
All content on the Yarrow Lane website and in our materials, including text, images, graphics, logos, videos, course content, recipes, formulations, and educational materials, is owned by Yarrow Lane or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

12.2 Limited License
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our content for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

12.3 Restrictions
You may not:
  • Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display our content without written permission
  • Use our content for commercial purposes
  • Modify or create derivative works from our content
  • Remove copyright or proprietary notices
  • Share course materials, recipes, or formulations with others
  • Use our herbal formulations for commercial product creation




13.1 Community Contributions
If you submit testimonials, reviews, photos, or other content to us (via email, social media, or other channels), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content for business and marketing purposes.

13.2 Content Standards
You agree not to submit content that:
  • Is false, misleading, or defamatory
  • Violates any third-party rights
  • Contains offensive, obscene, or illegal material
  • Promotes discrimination or harm
  • Violates privacy rights of others

13.3 Right to Remove
We reserve the right to remove any user-generated content that violates these standards or that we deem inappropriate.

If you provide your email address through a lead magnet, purchase, subscription, or other means, you may receive marketing emails from us. Every marketing email contains a clear unsubscribe link, and you may opt out at any time.

15.2 Consent
By providing your email address, you consent to receiving communications related to your purchase, booking, or subscription, as well as occasional marketing communications. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by clicking "unsubscribe."




16.1 Use at Your Own Risk
You acknowledge that use of herbal products and remedies carries inherent risks. You assume all responsibility for determining the suitability of our products and services for your needs.

16.2 No Warranties
Our services and products are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

16.3 Professional Insurance
Yarrow Lane maintains Professional Liability Insurance and a Commercial Legal Protection Policy as appropriate for our business operations.

16.4 Liability Cap
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yarrow Lane shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
  • Your use of or inability to use our services or products
  • Any allergic reaction or adverse effects from product use
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or personal information
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission
  • Any bugs, viruses, or similar that may be transmitted through our service
  • Any errors or omissions in any content
  • The conduct or content of any third party using our services

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the six months prior to the claim.




You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Yarrow Lane, Laura Darcy, and any employees, contractors, or affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
  • Your use of our services or products
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Any allergic reaction, adverse effect, or health issue resulting from product use
  • Your failure to disclose relevant health information during consultations
  • Your misuse of products or failure to follow usage instructions



We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, strikes, epidemics, pandemics, government restrictions, or failure of third-party services.




19.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

19.2 Jurisdiction
You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ireland for resolution of any disputes.

19.3 Dispute Resolution
Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us in good faith to attempt to resolve any disputes informally. Many disputes can be resolved through direct communication.



We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

For material changes that significantly affect your rights or obligations, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users via email or prominent notice on our website.




If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.



These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Yarrow Lane regarding use of our services and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.



No waiver of any term or condition of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term, and our failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.



You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights and obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
